Boilerplate

Copy-paste ready, short and long.

Short — one paragraph

SONOMER by Breggme is the 2-in-1 home ultrasonic marinator: 40 kHz cavitation pushes marinade deep into meat in 5–9 minutes — no overnight soak, no full submersion — and quick-thaws frozen cuts up to 35× faster than the countertop. SONOMER is the first product from kitchen brand Breggme. Live on Kickstarter now.

Long — the full story

SONOMER began with a familiar 5 pm problem at Breggme: the protein is still frozen, dinner has no plan, and “marinate overnight” stopped being an option hours ago. Traditional marinating only seasons the surface — the inside stays bland — while counter-thawing dries the edges and plays with fire, food-safety-wise.

SONOMER answers with sound instead of time. A 40 kHz ultrasonic transducer drives millions of microscopic bubbles against the meat; as they collapse they open micro-channels that pull marinade all the way through — the same cavitation physics used in industrial food processing, shrunk to a 1.2 kg countertop appliance. In Marinate mode, steaks, chicken, pork, seafood, tofu and vegetables get deep flavor in 5–9 minutes, with dry rubs welcome and no full submersion needed. Flip to Quick-Thaw and frozen cuts defrost evenly — up to 35× faster than the counter — with the juices locked in.

The campaign is live on Kickstarter, funded past its goal within days. Early Bird backers get 40% off the planned retail price; rewards ship worldwide after the campaign ends.

Story angles that write themselves

Pick one — we’ll happily supply quotes, data and extra footage.

The end of overnight marinating

Same physics industrial food plants use — cavitation — shrunk onto the family countertop. A “why did nobody build this sooner” gadget story.

Weeknight dinner, solved

The 5 pm scramble: protein still frozen, no plan, no flavor. One machine collapses both waits — thaw and marinate — into minutes.

Sound is the new kitchen prep

Ultrasonic cleaners cleaned jewelry; ultrasonic welders bond plastics. Now 40 kHz sound preps dinner. A tech-culture angle for gadget desks.

Less waste on the plate

No 24-hour brine, no marinade-soaked plastic freezer bags, less energy than overnight refrigeration — the low-waste angle.
